Also known as a Turkish bath is a combination of rooms through which a spa journey can take place. It incorporates warm and hot air bathing, relaxation spaces, steambath, mud bath and a place for massage and treatment. The spaces described below can be used in several combinations to create a Hamam of choice.
A warm ceramic steam room where a selection of specially prepared clays are applied to the body. A shower is integrated for personal rinsing and a kneipp hose for cleaning the room post bathing. A truly personal and beneficial treatment.
A dry hot ceramic room which radiates heat. Curved benches on which to relax, stays are usually 15-20 minutes. Cooling down usually follows with a trip to the snow cabin or plunge pool.
A room usually situated centrally and offering warm radiant heat ranging in temperature from 37-39°C.
An open space with heated relaxation benches the Tepidarium is a place to stay and relax for some time between bathing stages.
A room offering mid range temperatures of between 50 and 60°C where walls, floor and benches are heated. Aroma, light and sound can be incorporated if required to offer an enhanced experience.
A steamroom with infused salt solution which is cleansing and clearing. An alternative salt bath incorporates brushwood flushed with seawater. Optimum solution content is up to 0. 5%. Alternatively, for dry salt bathing, Klafs introduces salt into the sauna bathing environment. The specially constructed wall of Himalayan salt gently infuses the cabin to create a dry brine bath.
A radiant warm room with temperatures reaching 43 to 55°C. Gentle infusion of aromatic, natural oils to soothe and relax the bather.
